The season of medallion rained on Soofia International School last Friday during the crowing ofchampions for the Lesotho Private High Schools sports tournament at National University ofLesotho International School (NULIS).
Lesotho Private High Schools sports tournament ignites the spirit of sportsmanship among private high schools; participating in the tourneys was NULIS, Soofia International School, Machabeng College and New Millennium School. The schools go head to head for championship in various categories; Soccer, volleyball, Basketball, chess, netball and table tennis. This marks the 3 rd year of crowning champions under the private high schools umbrella sportsmanship.
This year’s games were hosted by NULIS on National University of Lesotho grounds at Roma. Soofia’s daring players scooped medals in all the categories they competed; Soccer Boys – Silver, Soccer Girls – Silver, Volleyball Boys – Bronze, Volley Girls – Bronze, Netball – Silver, Basketball girls – Silver, Table Tennis – Gold, Chess – Gold and Basketball boys team share Gold and Silver medals their rivals since the final match was discontinued due to rain.
