The first phase of Africa Code Week 2018 training started on the 10th August 2018. Africa Code Week is an initiative that seeks to instill digital literacy and coding skills in the young generation, working closely with private, public and non-profit partners to drive sustainable learning impact across Africa.As Such Soofia International School has participated in this initiative since 2016.
The training was for the Master trainers. The Master Trainers will pass their knowledge to teachers and other leaders in the community on the 17th August 2018. The teacher are in turn expected to pass the skills and knowledge to children and people around them.
