At Soofia International School, we believe that every learner has a story to tell — and sometimes, the most powerful way to tell that story is through words.
Recently, 21 talented learners took on an exciting creative writing challenge: to write vivid and captivating essays introducing Soofia International School to visitors from London, United Kingdom.
The challenge provided our learners with an opportunity to showcase their creativity, imagination, descriptive writing skills, and pride in their school. Each essay offered a unique perspective on what makes the Soofia experience special, capturing the spirit, environment, values, and vibrant learning community of our school.
Following a competitive review of the submissions, six outstanding essays were selected for top honours.
🏆 Celebrating Our Top Writers
🥇 1st Place – Ntsela Mothabeng
Ntsela emerged as the overall winner with an exceptional piece of creative writing that stood out for its originality, vivid description, and engaging presentation of Soofia International School.
As the first-place winner, Ntsela received a Certificate of Excellence, Gold Medal, exclusive White Soofia Winter Scarf, and a Tuck Shop Voucher. Her winning essay will also be proudly published on the Soofia International School website and social media platforms, allowing her voice to reach an even wider audience.
🥈 2nd Place – Mantsane Majara
Mantsane earned second place with a compelling essay that demonstrated strong creativity, thoughtful expression, and an impressive ability to communicate the character of the school.
She received a Certificate of Excellence, Silver Medal, Blue Soofia Scarf, and a Tuck Shop Voucher.
🥉 Joint 3rd Place – Leisa Ts’euoa & Keketso Mokone
Leisa and Keketso shared third place, both producing highly commendable pieces that showcased creativity, confidence, and strong writing ability.
Each received a Certificate of Excellence, Bronze Medal, Blue Soofia Scarf, and a Tuck Shop Voucher.
🌟 4th Place – Ts’epang Ramasimong
Ts’epang was recognised for a strong writing performance and received a Certificate of Excellence in appreciation of the quality and effort demonstrated in the competition.
🌟 5th Place – Nthabiseng Jane
Nthabiseng also earned a Certificate of Excellence for her commendable essay and creative contribution to the challenge.
