Soofia International School’s Commercials Club recently led an engaging and thought-provoking session focused on developing financial literacy and responsible money management among learners.
The session explored important financial concepts and everyday decisions, including smart spending, avoiding impulse buying, understanding the difference between debit and credit, and developing healthy financial discipline. Learners were encouraged to reflect on how their choices and habits today can influence their financial well-being in the future.

The discussion also introduced learners to the realities of financial burdens and the importance of making informed decisions when managing money. Through these conversations, learners gained a greater appreciation for the value of planning, saving, responsible spending, and financial accountability.

Entrepreneurship was another key focus of the session, encouraging learners to recognise opportunities, think creatively, and explore ways of becoming financially independent. The session reinforced the idea that financial success is not only about how much money one earns, but also about how wisely it is managed.

Through initiatives such as these, the Commercials Club continues to equip learners with practical skills and knowledge that extend beyond the classroom. At Soofia International School, we believe that financial literacy is an essential life skill—and that empowering learners with the right knowledge today helps build a financially responsible and independent generation for tomorrow.
